I recently shopped for a Subaru Legacy GT, when the dealer offered an outstanding buy on his only spec.B. The combination of improved handling dynamics, navigation system and other features turned it into an irresistible buy. Any enthusiast who has driven the turbo GT Legacy knows that the 250 HP rating offered by Subaru is WAY low. Zero-to-60 in 5.3 (which this car does) means something more on the order of 275+ flywheel HP. Great performance, handling and all wheel drive make this a terrific buy!
Favorite Features
Excellent gear ratios on this 5 speed, with no problematic gaps between 2nd and 3rd. Nice torque band with scarcely noticeable lag. Four wheel drive means NO TORQUE STEER and all power gets connected to the ground for face-flattening launches. Spec.B brick red leather looks great.
Suggested Improvements
My only complaints: 1) Need a change storage compartment; 2) Armrest placement for driver - doorside is too low for long drive comfort & right side "support" needs to be more extensible. The pop-up support unit is in a bad spot when shifting. There's a tendency to bop your elbow on it.
