Stand out of the crowd!

I wasn't really looking for a Subaru, altough I always liked the style; but I test drove one at a dealer almost by coincidence and that was it. I did what you are not supposed to: fall in love with the car. If you want to stand out of the crowd using regular and common Camrys, Accords, and Altimas, this is the car for you. Fun to drive, excellent handling, sporty style, and the AWD is excellent for my city where we get a lot of snow. A little bit small interior for big guys (I'm 6' and I don't have much room left). I'm impressed with the mpg given the AWD capabilities. Now I understand why some people say "once you get into a Subaru, you'll never leave".

This car is roomy, comfortable, has awesome options, accelerates well, has great power no matter where you are, is great in the snow, gets respectable gas mpg, looks so good, the dealer service has been amazing. Nothing is wrong with this car.

I bought my LGT brand new almost 3 years ago, and I still think this car is one of the best kept secrets. I've had so many complements on its looks, and everyone is surprised when they hear it's a Subaru. The AWD gives you more confidence on the road, even though the stock allseason tires aren't the best. The black interior is nice, and the cloth seats have held up well for 40000 miles. It has great acceleration, even when it was stock, but there was noticeable turbo lag. The manual shifting on the auto is nice, but there is hesitation. Gas mileage could be better but you pay to play. Warranty repairs: driver seat heating elements coming through foam twice, O2 sensor, dash rattle (not fixed

Ok car overall but amazing in the snow.

If you are some one who needs a solid commuter car and deals with a lot of bad weather look no further. The car's boxer engine does a great job when you pass someone on the highway. What really is a disappointment is the low end torque, it is non existent. If you are like me and need that torque to get up to speed quickly on the highway with short on ramps then this is not the car for you. Even in a manual it struggles. Passing traffic amazing but no torque. Gas mileage is excellent and the all wheel drive can handle almost anything. Headlights went out twice but dealer was great and replaced. What I do not get is why the backseat does not fold down. Major problem with kids.

I just bought my 05 Legacy GT Limited used. So far it is an amazing car. It's much more fun to drive than my previous car (98 Honda Accord 4cyl). The AWD really inspires confidence when taking corners and all-around driving.

This is our 2nd Subaru. Our first Subaru was a tank, we loved it, 100K+ and never had a problem. Unfortunately that was not the case with this car. 30k+ should yield better build quality and better service. Dash rattles and the dealer and Subaru will do nothing. The radio has been replaced twice and still does not work correctly. The homelink mirror failed. The gauge illumination changes by itself. Cruise control fails regularly and the dealership(s) can't find anything. This car could be so much better but now that it is has 39000 miles on it and is out of warranty we are getting rid of it. I don't thing we will ever buy anothe Subaru.

Austin GT Limited Sedan

The only issue that I have had with this car is thaat the a headlight will burn out every six months or so. I am not too crazy about the gas mileage, but with the way it can zoom around, I overlooked it. Due to the fact that there aren't that many Subarus around in comparison to the rest of the cars on the road, people always ask me, "What kinda car is that?" I answer, and they return a strange look. I guess some people have a bad view of subarus. All in all, a good car, solid ride, and decently comfortable.

Nikobonjon's Subie

Pros: All in all this is a good car with exceptional handing abilities. It is a fine car and holds the road well. The turbo engine is super when it kicks in. The car is quiet and clean. Cons: Expensive to maintain especially the tires. Turbo burns premium unleaded. Somewhat narrow (hip room) front seating. Typical turbo lag. Fuel economy could be better for a car this size.

I love my Subaru Legacy GT. I've had it a little over a year and it's fun to drive handles like a dream' 0-60 5.7 seconds and it's not too bad on gas.

I like everything about this car except for the daylight running lights and the way they are connected to the emergency brake. I have the GT with manual tranny (the weight is close to 200lb less than the limited GT) and the performance is fantastic. Gas ranges from 21 mpg for hard driving to about 30 mpg on trips.
