Great vehicle until it falls apart.
Unfortunately it happens right after
the warranty expired.
Simple inside but runs great.
For last year (from 60K to 70K miles)
wheel bearing died, clutch was
replaced, famous head gasket blown out
and finally crankshaft bearings burned
out (new engine required). It looks
like head gasket problem is very common
(more then 20% of cars?). Unfortunately
engine replacement (without prior
problems - no overheats till red line)
before 100K miles is not unique for
that car. So my advise - if you have
it - get rid of it right away.
Otherwise if you plan to own it for a
warranty terms length it's a great car.
AWD, wagon, manual transmission, pretty
Make cars that lasts more then 100K
miles as it used to be. More powerful
engine would be nice too.
