We bought this vehicle for the fuel economy and AWD. We felt a SUV and
minivan were over kill. We are so glad we made the choice. Our Outback
has served very faithfully. We have kept up with the maintenence and the
car has not let us down. The only repair so far has been a broken spark plug
wire. How easy is that. We would gladly buy another Subaru and will
recommend this model to anyone.
Strong A/C. Cargo with the seats up (luggage capacity). Great at drive-ins
with the seats down. Standard features well liked: cargo tray, power outlets,
roof rakes, powerful stereo, seats comfortable. Retains value better than
We could use leather and the bigger motor in the 1997.
