Vehicle2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium PZEV 4dr Hatchback AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
ReviewAfter having the car for awhile its not as good as my impressions of when I bought it from the dealership.
But it is a very good price AWD car.
Buying a Subaru was a different experience. I found out that you will get a substantial better price from a large volume dealer than smaller one. This is how Subaru distrubution model works and the Impreza is a hot car. Our order took 6 months instead of the 12 weeks we were told, but we kind of knew this going in.
Best FeaturesPros -AWD -Very Comfortable seating, simple adjustme -Solid Roof Rails -Excellent gas mileage if driven correctly with the CVT you need to a light foot with the pedal and keep the rpms under 3000 -Easy oil changes -Nice steering wheel and wheel controls -CVT will be awful if you don't know how to drive it but I figured it out and love it. -Suspension is a perfect balance between smooth ride and performance handling. -Crosstrek bumper guard fits on the impreza and its nice and solid not like the sticker one that is an option -People say they like the look of the car -Has good leg room in back for adults for such a small car. One of main reasons we bought it -Cell phone holder -
Worst FeaturesCons -The speedometer is too small and hard to read with a quick glance -No trailer hitch allowed on US model. Even for bike rack. Will Void warrenty -17 Rims look great but will get chewed up with potholes as tires are about the same width or rims so no protection. I would get the 16 inches if it was possible. -5 minute engine warm-up time in 30 degree weather -Body metal is thin expect lots of parking lot dings -Bluetooth setup is hard to use and doesn't always connect -Fuel efficiency gauge resets with the trip counter -kids have hard time with rear belt buckles as middle seat has a different size tab -fuel door is on passenger side. -Radio reception and sound are marginal
