Usually they let you pay up to a certain amount on a CC, but it may depend on your credit score. They let me charge $2000 but I was Tier I, which was nice because I have the Chase Subaru card and immediately got $60 credit.

I cannot believed I was lied to. A co-worker bought a WRX several weeks after I got mine, and he paid downpayment with his credit card. My dealer said it was Subaru of America Financing that will not accept credit card as form of downpayment. What a BS. As payback, I gave them all 1's in their stupid survey. E

(new to this forum) I researched on Consumer Reports and other sources before I bought my 2013 Impreza Sport Premium wagon in December so I knew that 26mpg was a more realistic number than the "ideal" 36mpg hway in the Subaru promotional literature. I drive 60mi round trip work/home daily which is about 70% slow traffic/30% highway (NYC and suburbs). I can't say I'm thrilled that I'm averaging only 24.5mpg but ... Read More

Nice ride. :) The only items I would add are the sports grille and navigation with Starlink/Aha. The sports grille is just eye candy, but it looks so much better than the stock grille. Navigation is debatable for some folks here, but it's something I want. Starlink/Aha will be part of navigation, but that means waiting till this summer when the 2014 Imprezas arrive. http://wot.motortrend.com/subaru-introduces-starlink-infotainment-system-with-ah- - - a-on-2014-forester-311237.html Bob

They can adapt the steering wheel controls, probably the Bluetooth also but adapters cost extra, plus labor. OEMs have come down, used to be $2200 now $1000 for Navi, so becoming better values now.

Reviews on the OEM system aren't that good, search YouTube for the CNET check the tech. I would look at better aftermarket ones, just make sure you get adapters for the steering wheel controls and consider adding a backup cam while you're at it. Last time I went to the Sony store they had installers right there in the store.

To be honest, now that I have my Fiesta, I think our Forester is pretty noisy, too. It isn't, but it seems that way since the Fiesta is so insanely quiet. Ford put quite a bit of effort into sound deadening, though, including a heavily insulated engine compartment (compared to Subaru), sound-deadening windshield (not sure how that works!), and wheel wells that are lined with a felt-like material rather than hard ... I will say this, after owning 4 Honda CRV's that the Impreza is more fun to drive than any SUV because it has better steering, suspension, is lighter and has a lower center of gravity. I test drove an Impreza and it's one of the better CVTs. Quiet for a small car, decent ride. Didn't push the handling much. I liked it more than the Mazda3 I drove back-to-back.
