  From experience with "computer controlled" AWD is they only function when getting unstuck and moving slow and you still don't get that sheer grip that Subaru's get. (Check out videos on YouTube). VW, Nissan, Toyota, etc all function about the same. It's not anywhere near the same as all-time AWD like Subaru.   Fitz has a Impreza outback sport 5m at that price, you need to get 1000 more off for a 5d premium..... The outback sport has heated seats and a couple more nice things.

  I just had the second break switch replaced at Dan Perkins Subaru.. they think the design is flawed and may break again. At least they promised a free oil change the next time it happens.. very nice people. Also, they spray painted the black peeled paint on the muffler.. which they damaged when they applied the paint harder.. see my other problem... All in all the issues are being handled and ...   That will be $17,540 invoice price. That's way below invoice on a 2008 Impreza Premium Package 5AT-S. More than $2K below, in fact. $17,540 is closer to invoice on a base, manual transmission, 2.5i Impreza. You should not shop out-the-door price by tying in your interest rate; the two should be separate yet equal in weighing your decision. Good luck.

  it's renick subaru in fullerton. invoice for base 2.5i 5-door is approx. $17600+ plus destination plus doc fee. also, there was $478 leftover from my previous loan that was rolled over. they gave me a $500 manufacturer rebate too.

  Dan Perkins Subaru came through again. The manager looked at the paint flaws and I showed him how I can scratch the paint with my nails.. even a light scratch produced a mark.
