AWD supercar!
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza STi 4dr Sedan AWD w/Silver-Painted Wheels (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 6M)
Review
This car is awesome. The handling and acceleration blows cars away at 2-3 times the price. The build quality is great and I love the way it looks. I really enjoy driving this car!
Favorite Features
Engine, brakes, looks.
Suggested Improvements
The only thing I would change is the wing. A little too big IMO.
Subaru...Love it!

2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5 i 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I traded my VW Golf for the Impreza 2.5i sedan. I wanted the WRX but can't swing the cash. For the money, the Impreza 2.5i is outstanding. You can really feel the 170 HP because the car is so light. The boxer engine shifts smooth as silk. The AWD is also excellent. This car handles very well for its class and feels super solid when driving. it really is a blast to drive. I have no trouble getting on the gas at 60mph to blow by someone on the highway, the torque and HP are great. I ask for the power and it's there! You really couldn't get a better car for the money.
Favorite Features
Boxer engine, 170hp, AWD, handling, front seats, torque. The rear end looks really good too.
Suggested Improvements
The stereo and speakers are pretty bad, I had to have an aftermarket stereo put in, speakers are next to go in.

Awesome Car!
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 5M)
Review
I bought this car a month ago, and I love it even more now that when I bought it. It hauls and handles like a champ. It is just as sure footed in the rain too. The stock stereo and speakers are pretty wimpy, but other than that, this car is unbelievable!
Favorite Features
Turbo!
Suggested Improvements
Better stock stereo. Other than that this car is sweet!

I love my new impreza - I had a Forester years ago, then tried other cars for fuel economy. None impressed me as much as my Subaru, and I think I'm a fan for life.
Favorite Features
All wheel drive.
Suggested Improvements
More realistic cup holder size would be helpful.
Turner Ready
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 5M)
Review
Turner ready says it all. Excellent inexpensive platform to build on or just leave alone. Fun to drive and offers the wallet a break and the flexibility to add as funds become available. I would start with the brake cables, coil overs and then pipes. Easy to install and easier to enjoy.
Favorite Features
Great engine.
Suggested Improvements
Brakes, suspension.
So much fun for so little dough

2006 Subaru Impreza STi 4dr Sedan AWD w/Silver-Painted Wheels (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 6M)
Review
The STi's performance rivals, no, outright destroys so-called sports cars 3-4 times its price. 0-60 well under 5 seconds, with no serious performance degradation in the wet (thanks to the AWD), this car just keeps giving and going. And it has 4 doors and a usable trunk to boot...amazing!
Favorite Features
Grip, handling, and power. Oh, and the reliability of a Subaru is an excellent bonus.
Suggested Improvements
Better seats -- some Recaros would be an improvement.
GREAT CAR
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited 4dr Sedan AWD w/Off-Black Int. (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 5M)
Review
After driving this car for 3 months, I am still amazed at the direct connection between my right foot and a smile. I love it when any Mustangs or Camaros that pull up next to me at red lights, they fade quickly in the rear view mirror. If I were to find a downside to this powerful performance sedan, it would have to be gas mileage. I've averaged around 20 mpg, but then again this could be because that gas pedal is so addictive.
Favorite Features
Engine performance, AWD, leather all for under $26k. Take on any other car on the road (except some EVO's, STI's and the occasional Corvette or Porsche).
Suggested Improvements
Better gas mileage, lots of wind noise with sunroof and windows down.
Go drive it!

Review
This is an awesome car. Looked at the Mazda 3, Hyundai Tiburon, Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, Ford Focus, and more. The Impreza is in a class by itself, and sells for about the same price as the others given the amount of standard options. Very safe car with AWD for the winter season and a blast to drive. I can't say enough good things about it. Anyone considering a sedan for under $20K needs to check this out. Keep in mind the mechanical advantage over the competition (ie: AWD and the boxer engine).
Favorite Features
Seats -- great seats with good support; look good too. Engine -- very flexible, good power, decent fuel economy and it's smooth as silk (can't even tell the engine's running at idle).
Suggested Improvements
Folding rear seat would be nice.

FUN 2 DRIVE
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5 i 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I have wanted a WRX for some time now, but could not afford one. Subaru offered a sweet lease deal on the 2.5i that we couldn't pass up. $199 a month with NO money down (4yr. lease). It turned out to be a really fun car to drive. Felt sorry for the salesman during my test drive. He had to hang on tight a couple of times. But hey, it was MY test drive! Great build quality.
Favorite Features
Engine is the best part. All wheel drive for NY winters. All the top quality accessories.
Suggested Improvements
Work on better fuel economy, but it's not that bad (for AWD).

good car
Vehicle
2006 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Special Edition 4dr Wagon AWD (2.5L 4cyl 4A)
Review
So far car has been nice. But itÂ’s not as comfortable with 5 people in it even with 3 being kids. But for me it is only a second car and used mainly to get back and forth from work. This car has been a nice surprise, going from my Jeep Grand Cherokee. That I loved (just not the many trips to the gas stations) but going to this has not been too bad. I miss some toys but this car has a lot more sporty of a ride. So far so good.
Favorite Features
All wheel drive. I live in upstate N.Y. it helps a lot in the snow.
Suggested Improvements
Softer seats or less firm. More power you can feel. Had a V8 with 240 hp which felt a lot different off the line. Would like to be put into the back of my seat without losing gas mileage.
