2003 Subaru Impreza WRX AWD 4dr Sport Wagon (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

The WRX wagon may look like a strictly utilitarian vehicle, but drives like an expensive sports car. Its acceleration, handling and braking match those of cars that cost thousands of dollars more and have the sporting pedigrees to match. I have been thrilled with this car!

Best Features

This is a hard choice between acceleration and handling, as both are spectacular. When the turbocharger kicks in, the WRX takes off with a real kick. At the same time, its all-wheel drive and firm suspension provide superb control in the most difficult driving situations.

Worst Features

One way the WRX does not match its more expensive competition is its noise level. A little more sound-deadening material here and there wouldn't hurt.
