4yr ownership of 2008 version sold us. Its price is nice, not the most technically advanced in the segment.
Nice ride, spacious great, for a small family that requires wagon utility, that can handle rough weather, is reliable, and safe.
We got the alloy wheel-package.
Price, reliability, they can handle rough roads and the snow excellently.
It is safe and has tidy dimensions and is highly maneuverable.
Easy buying experience since they are pretty much sold at invoice.
You could seat 4 six footers with no problems.
They will be coming, unfortunately not in this year.
With direct injection and extra speeds on the transmission, it should be extra special; hopefully the price does not go up too much as when our 2008 requires replacement it will likely be another Forester.
Not too happy that in trunk there are plastic hook anchors; we use the hooks constantly with a stretch net to keep cargo in place.
Gone are the side bars to which we would put a strap to secure cargo in the back for road trips. More and better integrated high tech options like Fords' Sync; hopefully next time buying I will be able to afford and get them.
