I've had my Forester for almost a month, put on 750 miles, averaging 26.5MPG mixed highway and city. So far, I've been pleasantly surprised by the handling and smooth ride. I've owned Toyotas for 8 years previously and did not expect the Forester to drive as well but it compares very favorably. The interior finish is not as refined as my Toyotas were but it's acceptable. Overall, it's a solid vehicle with everything I need.
Oversize moonroof is nice, general handling.
Wish it had a NAV option with Bluetooth. The stereo is pretty mediocre.
