Just got back from a 3000+ mile road trip. The Forester cruises easily at 75+ mph and the seats and interior cabin are comfortable. Good reserve power for passing on 2 lane country roads. Plenty of cargo space. Good handling and brakes. Average mpg was 25 would be higher if I slowed down to 60 mph. I'm glad I bought the vehicle. I haven't driven it in really bad weather yet so I'm waiting for winter to arrive.
6 player CD. Heated front seats. Moonroof.
Turn down the seat belt reminder. I find the automatic climate system a bit difficult to use. Make a full size spare an option. Use Goodyear ComforTred as the OEM tire. I changed mine at 700 miles. I also added additional sound damping material.
