I think this is an AWESOME vehicle. It
has great handling characteristics for
a "wagon" b/c of the WRX underpinnings.
The motor is, frankly, stronger than
the WRX in all meaningful measures.
(It's a 2.5 vs. the 2.0 for the WRX.)
Subaru gets 300 HP from this basic
setup in the STi, and if you want to,
for $4K more you can duplicate that
performance with bolt-on stuff. Very
solidly built.Shifting is smooth,
interior fit and finish great. Drive by
wire makes a real difference.
Power, handling, versatility, size.
Hill holding feature is also a great
feature. Small external "footprint"
coupled w/ relatively roomy interior,
and 4-wheel drive "stickiness" in all
Provide power seats, leather, and a
sunroof in the manual transmission
version. Also would like a cassette in
the stereo to "plug-in" stuff like mp3
players and XM radios.
