I bought my Forester new. Too many
repairs needed already. New brake pads
at 50,000 miles, rotors close to
needing replacement. Have had to align
3 times. Expansion valve (part of AC)
had to be replaced to the tune of
$600. Transmission problems now x 3
cost several hundred. New tires needed
around 35,000. Driver cup holder
blocks view of controls. Back seats
uncomfortable. Cannot fit 3 car seats
on rear bench. I would not buy again.
Good gas mileage, small and compact,
great multipurpose. Love the compass
and heated seats.
Make vehicle wide enough for 3 car
seats to fit in back. Add option for
additional seating bench in cargo
area. Extend the original
manufacturer's warranty another 12,000
