EDITORS' RATINGS OVERALL SCORE:

Overall

RATING

A smooth ride with a reasonably spacious interior. Styling considerations compromise some of the interior controls.

DETAILED EDITORS' RATINGS

Dynamics

RATING

Engine power is only adequate. Slow steering, a fair amount of body roll and a mushy brake pedal keep you from wanting to drive it with any kind of zeal. But these characteristics aren't wholly unexpected for this class, either.

Comfort

RATING

The B9 ride is smooth, quiet and front seat passengers have adequate room. Wind and road noise are higher than expected.

Function

RATING

Yes, it has a third row seat, but it's quite small. Second row legroom is by no means generous either. Air conditioning and audio control ease-of-use are compromised by styling considerations. The optional rearview camera is a nice addition.

Design/Build Quality

RATING

Interior stlying is the B9's strong point. It looks striking outside as well, with high-quality assembly and materials.

DETAILED PROFILE:

Family Friendly Third-row seat.

Comfortable Supportive and firm seats are great for long trips.

Cargo Hauler Seats fold flat to create a large load surface.
