Automatic Power Door Locks
Hi, I just bought my Scion xD 2008 last Saturday and find really amazing with all the features and it runs really great and it's really roomy. I love it. Gas mileage is really very good. I just have a question if the door locks itself when you put in the gear because the one I bought it didn't do it automatically, does anybody have any idea about this? I would really appreciate ... REVISED: Prius is out, Matrix is in. MATRIX vs Scion XD or XB
Help Needed Please!! After a month of research, I just can't make the numbers work for the Prius, sadly. I want to be very conservative with my money these days. Therefore, it's down to the Matrix or the Scion. Used Matrix or 2008 Scion. Dealer offered $15,300 with 3 year B to B and free tires/batteries for life: 15,300 + tax etx for the XD. Nothing yet on the Matrix. ... Read More...

I want it more than the XD. I like it's looks better, the mileage, the size etc. Everything but the price!!! :confuse: :confuse: :confuse: Read More...

The xD is a 3rd car for us...my daily driver is an '06 Civic Ex, and my partners is an '05 STS. We wanted a replacement for a V8 Grand Cherokee that we could throw the kayaks on and haul the animals around in The xD or Fit or whatever we get will be a second car for us. Our primary car is a 2008 Civic Si. I need very supportive seats and the Si is great for that. I find myself liking ... Read More...
Re: Scion XD vs Prius.....Prius vs Scion XD [vbnsman]
I have test driven a 2007 Prius and a 2008 Fit Sport AT. The Prius had enough power to merge effectively. Although it is no speed demon, I also had no trouble entering and exiting the busy Hou TX I10 in the FIT. I did not have to gun the engine and was generally impressed with the smooth power. Thats not to say I did not encounter the typical 4 cyl buzziness, but for the most ... Read More...

Re: rear sway bar [719b]
"has anyone purchased a 2008 scion xd and added a rear sway bar after they owned the car for awhile? i'd like to know if there is a noticeable improvement in handling." Yep. I got the rear sway installed about 2 weeks after I got my xD in November. It is awesome! Corners tighter, solid to the ground, ride is smoother, and best of all is: superb wind resistance! A stretch ... Read More...
