I have had this car for three months and have over 10,000 miles. It is a winner. It really is a great utility vehicle with a sporty feel. I have gotten 34 MPG on all freeway driving, I had an aftermarket cruise control put on it and built my own arm rest making it a great travel car. Its top quality, cool looks, and great performance will continue to make this a best seller.
I like the good fuel economy, ease of entry and exit, room for a large person like me, and quality, quality, quality.
Have factory installed cruise control, front dome or map lights, and a higher arm rest for normal sized people.
I have owned Toyotas before and this one does not dissappoint. The ride quality is good and my gas mileage has ranged from 34 to 41 mpg (road trip). So far I have found no problems with build quality and the engine has a sort of "sewing machine motor" quality of liking to spin freely but being entirely smooth with no rough or flat spots.
I really like the interior - its room and comfort, particularly. I used to have an Echo, so the dash was no problem to get used to.
I love driving this car. It is so roomy. I am very comfortable driving my xB and I am glad I bought this vehicle. I was skeptical at first but when I test drove it for the first time I was immediately sold. It has a unqiue design which is why I also chose this model. Every time I see another person driving an xB I wave and they wave and smile back. It is fun to drive:)
My stereo system is so cool. I like the colors it displays as I drive. That is so neat. :)
This is my first Toyota vehicle and I just LOVE it. It's got so much style inside and outside. Even the base model that I have, still has lots of little extras including the iPod auxilary port, Pioneer radio/CD player which is sattellite radio compatible. It's a 4-cylinder car, so the initial pickup is not really fast. However, once the Scion xB gets going, it maintains a real nice even speed - none of that pulling back that other 4-cylinder cars seem to have. Also, the car maintains a nice even drive/speed even going up hills - doesn't seem to increase RPM's like my old 6-cylinder. It's just a great value for the money!
The cool look of the car and roominess. I was really surprised with how much interior room it actual has - plenty of leg and head room for the rear passengers too.
Only minor stuff like adding an extendor to the front sun visors since the windows are pretty large. Also be able to close the top, central vents. Otherwise, I couldn't find anything other improvements needed.
From day one, I enjoyed owning this car. I got the Special Edition RS 3.0 in Envy Green and it turns heads. With the front and rear sway bars and cold air intake package installed, its performance seems to have increased and it handles very nicely. Everyone that rides in the rear seat remarks on how roomy it is. With the rear seats down it swallowed a 5,500 watt generator in the box with room to spare. At 9,500 miles, nothing has broken yet, and I do not expect any failures. So far 31.8 mpg I am getting on average and 34 on a 1,600 mile trip at highway speeds with the a/c on.
Satellite radio, manual transmission, and boxy interior size.
