and test drove a 2006 Polar White Scion xA with a manual transmission. The price was $14,195, before tax and license. It did include some extras, like fog lights and i-Pod and Sirius-ready radio, etc. I was impressed with the car in the test drive and wouldn't rule out a possible purchase later. I recently went to a Toyota dealership and test-drove the new 2006 Scion xA, AUTO. Without any extra options which I believe there are enough standard options to satisfy, the price turned out to be around 15,000 plus taxes and such. yeah, I am pretty much sold on getting a 2006 Kia Rio5 or Rio LX sedan. There's a Tropical Red Rio5 at my local dealer and I just got an e-mail from somebody in Idaho Falls, ID(50 miles north of Pocatello, ID)and the guy told me that, if he can fit into it, he will buy the Rio5 this Friday. scooters, and, you know, since I haven't traded in my '01 Sportage yet, I could still look at an xA. But, by all rights, I'll go get a 2006 Kia Rio LX. I love the style of the LX sedan and I love the style of the Rio5, too. I researched the Scion xA and I still love the xA RS 1.0 and 2.0. AAMOF-when does the Scion xA RS 3.0 come out? I have this feeling right now that the Ractis is Scion's xA successor. It's certainly aimed at a more affluent buyer than the upcoming Yaris, and unlike the current xA this new model looks it it could attract a large number of buyers, especially those what want a Scion but don't want the breadbox-shaped xB model. of the 2006 Scion xA and the 2007 Toyota Echo/Yaris/Vitz combination, so, why not? Toyota's been mysterious enough disclosing or not disclosing their plans for the U.S. market 2007 Echo/Yaris/Vitz, so why not throw a bit more drama into the mix. New 2006 XA yields immediate problem.

I purchased a Scion XA on August 8 and experienced an immediate intermittent problem. While the car drives great and is a blast to scoot around town in, the shifter sticks and the car will not go into gear.
