That is rather unusual nowadays. Most of the SCION dealers try to stay at sticker in any case. If the 2007's are out you may want to look at those. For most makes invoice and MSRP are rather artificial anyway. Try to get 4-5 bids at the end of the month on your car and see if they will go below. I test drove a 2006 Scion xA 3dr Hatchback Automatic today. I liked the way it handled though I felt the inside was a bit cheap feeling. Th sticker price for the 2006 included dealer add on package of cargo mat etc bringing the cost of the car to $14,865 I believe. I bought an automatic 2006 Scion Xa last fall; it has around 3500 miles on it. It's "supposed" to get 31/38 mpg. In fact, it averages 27, with a range of 24.x when it's cold out or I have passengers w/ luggage, to 29-30 mpg if I take a long trip (ONCE I got 30.1 mpg; twice I got 29.x.) scie: please let me know if rain leak has been diagnosed and/or fixed. My 2006 xA has started leaking again. The seals were replaced again in Nov. & it's been a dry winter until now. All it takes is steady rain & a slight tilt to the right for water to come in through the base of the driver's side door. Scion is FULL of crap about not having "heard of this problem before." ... I just bought an '06 xA abouta month ago and after three tank fills, I'm only averaging 25-26 mpg. How can this be right? I'm not hard on the gas and drive about 70% of the time on the hwy. Where do the 31 city/ 37 hwy come from? Can I go back to my dealership with this problem? False advertising? Somebody help me figure this out- The gas mileage was really the main reason ...
