2006 Scion xA 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 4A)
Review
This is a very fun car to drive. The handling is good and the ride is comfortable. It's not a car you would want if you have a lot of passengers. My car has a lot of optional features which make it more of a cool toy and somewhat of a luxury ride. I think I will enjoy the car for many years.
Favorite Features
The moonroof, keyless entry, 18 inch alloy wheels with low profile tires, updated grill, tinted glass, lowering bar, rear spoiler, interior displays, and stereo system and MP3 jack. All of this makes for a cool looking small vehicle that gets 38 mpg.
Suggested Improvements
Include some of these options as standard equipment. The ride is a little rough, maybe because of the cool looking wheels, but I would still opt for them. The acceleration could be a little better, but it's good enough for me. Overall it is a fun drive, but just don't hit any big dips or pot holes.

Review
My car is perfect for city driving as well as road trips. I fit in almost any small parking space and the fuel efficiency is one of the best I've experienced. This is a great first car for the younger generation because it is reliable, very easy to maintain, and affordable in the long-term. I love it.
Favorite Features
The automatic mirrors, hatchback door, and cargo space.

I absolutly love the Scion xA. It runs a bit rich from the factory so changing to iridium spark plugs and a performance filter will increase fuel mileage to over the EPA rating. This car has kyb shocks and will carve a curvy road like a knife with the TRD upgrade springs. The interior takes a bit to get used to but once you do you find it extremely convient. This is the finest Japanese engineering I have seen in along time. The engine internals are forged including cast iron sleeved cylinders. I find the automatic to be more fun then the manual, we have one of each. The automatic has more top end and goes through the gears better giving you better gas mileage. I cannot think of a better car to recommend.
Favorite Features
I love the steering wheel radio controls, excellent stock suspension and braking, and the placement of the tachometer and speedometer.
Suggested Improvements
It should have more incriments on the speedometer and brighter blue guage cluster illumination. The car should come with Toyota's performance springs stock for those who really like to hit the curves hard. Also, floor mats should come from the factory. It could use HID Headlights. The xA needs to come with a turbo like it does in Japan.

I enjoy my xA. It has been great. Its gas mileage in town is anywhere from 27- 31. On the highway it gets 38-42. We just came back from Ohio and it averaged about 41 miles per gallon. it drives great and I love it very much.
Favorite Features
I love the controls on the steering wheel.

Review
This car has been so much fun. It handles well, gets great gas mileage, and sits higher than a sedan, so you can see better when you drive. I love my Scion.
Favorite Features
I love the hatchback and roomy interior for transporting things when you drop the rear seats.
Suggested Improvements
I would like it to have cruise control and keyless entry.

The Scion xA is a nice little car. It's great around town, but surprisingly good on the interstate as well. People ask about it all the time.
Favorite Features
The body style.
Suggested Improvements
I don't like the lack of upgrades.

Review
At a time when the our (US) goverment mentioned our dependency-addiction to oil, the Scion xA brings the right mixture for a commuting car that includes excellent gas mileage, confort, looks and a low price with a conventional engine.
Favorite Features
The excellent price and gas mileage.
Suggested Improvements
I would have liked the option to get a sunroof.

Review
The Scion xA is a perfect fit for me and is the only new car purchase I have not regreted. I beleive I have the best car on the market for the price I paid. This car looks so small from the outside but is very roomy on the inside. The car is so much fun to drive. I will keep this car for a very long time.
Favorite Features
I love the dash design & the radio controls on the steering wheel.
Suggested Improvements
Cruise control as an option would be nice. As long as you don't plan on driving over 80 MPH everything else about the car is perfect.
Fun car to drive, but not at night.

Review
I like this little car. I enjoy driving it, but not at night. It feels weird driving at night because you don't see the steering that well with the dark interior.
Favorite Features
Everything - except with dark interior, it is hard to see the steering wheel when driving at night.
Suggested Improvements
It would be nice to have some light indicator of the steering wheel. Regular cars have the odometer lighting behind the steering wheel and the driver has no problem seeing the steering wheel.
