Review

I just got my new Scion this past week and so far, i absolutley love it! This is the first brand new vehicle purchase for me and it was a breeze. My dealer was awesome. I got the Flint Mica color and it's gorgeous. I've had strangers stop me and ask about the car. I am very excited and I look forward to driving it until the wheels fall off!

Favorite Features

The Pioneer CD Player, good gas mileage, smoothness of the ride. EVERYTHING!

Suggested Improvements

The installed cruise was a little confusing at first, but I think i've got it down now. Toyota should offer lower finance rates for people with good credit. Still, its rates were not unreasonable.

Review

The xA is a great car. toyota lied however! I do not get 31 miles per gallon around town, I get 35 - 36! Not only that, but this car is easy and fun to drive. It has good drivability, handling, and even ride. For $16,000 out the door, this is just great little car. It's comfy, roomy , and has a great interior design with instrument on center console. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

The stereo controls on the steering wheel are a great idea..

Had my car for 8 days! I bought this car brand new, unfortunately it was totaled 8 days later. I LOVED THIS CAR! I called everyone I knew in that first week saying how much I loved this car. The style is awesome, the ride great, the kids loved it (from my 16 year old down to my 4 year old). On March 16th someone in front of me caused a 5 car pile up and I was caught up in it... So here's hoping I get another Scion xA ASAP!! My car was totaled the same day my Cargo tote that I ordered from the dealership came in. I told them to hold the tote - till I get another xA.The police put in the report that my car was an SUV. I had to fix that! My car was the smallest in the accident!

Favorite Features

Great gas mileage, style of car, how it plays MP3 CD's, and the safety. I love how it looks like an SUV and rides like a luxury car! I LOVE THIS CAR!! I had no serious injuries despite my car being totalled.

Review

I like the performance and pickup of this car. The price is economical and the mileage is great. My model is great looking and it is a whole lot of fun to drive. I previously drove a Toyota MR2 for 190,000 miles and wanted to stay with Toyota. This car is a great car for the price, performance and economy. I have a 2005 model and will buy another one.

Favorite Features

Fun to drive and how great it is on gas mileage.

Suggested Improvements

Would like to have more options, such as sunroof.

Speaker Upgrade Door & Cold Air

Review

The Scion xA is a cute little car, some of the add ons where done at the dealer, so we had to wait to add this and that. We got the cold air intake, you won't get the extra boost, but the engine runs smoother. I did not like the door stereo upgrade, for what they charge I expected better. I told them I wanted my money back, and they just laughed.

Favorite Features

I like how it gets 32-36 mpg in city all the time and has such a smooth ride.

Suggested Improvements

Don't pay for door upgrades, buy it yourself and get the dual speakers (good ones like infinity) in the back. The driver's seat should go back one more inch for us big and tall guys. Get rid of that stupid antenna on roof. Lighted cup holders should be standard). Cruise control needs to be on the right side.

Review

We have been a Toyota family since 198?. I just got my first Scion yesterday. So far, everthing has been excellent. The seats are the most comfortable I've ever had in a car. It drove very smoothly and has a lot of room inside and a lot of pick up for such a small car. I will return to re-rate it when I have had it longer. My last Toyota was 11 years old and I put 33,750 miles on it. This Scion is my first automatic. I've had stick shifts all my life. I kept looking for the clutch, LOL. I am 4' 8" tall and I can reach the pedals on this new Scion. I had to add blocks to my past cars. Yet this Scion is a nice fit for my 6' 1" husband.

Favorite Features

The looks and the comfort. Despite what others may say, we think it rides smoothly.

Suggested Improvements

It would be nice if keyless entry and side airbags were standard features. Also, an added outlet for another appliance would have been nice.

Review

I love that my Scion xA is so roomy inside. I especially love that it's sits high, which makes it so easy to get in and out. It surprises everyone that gets into it for the first time.

Favorite Features

My favorite feature is the radio controls on the steering wheel. No more fights with my son!

Suggested Improvements

Since it's such a fun little car, I think they should offer brighter, more fun color choices!

I love my Scion xA. It is affordible and is very high quality. Also, it's great on gas, which is a major plus with gas prices at the level they're at today.

Favorite Features

I love my Scion. My favorite features are the great sound of the radio, steering wheel controls, leg room, and how it handles like a big car on the road. Its interior and seating are very spacious for such a small car. It turns on a dime. The xA provides great quality for the price.

Suggested Improvements

Put a light down where the cup holders are. Cruise control would be nice on long trips.

The Only Commuter Car on the Market

Review

There is no other car (that I've found) that has the combination of fuel efficiency, excellent braking/handling, subcompact size, safety features, Toyota-like reliability, amazing design quality (interior and exterior), and low price. This car has been *very* fun to drive and show off.

Favorite Features

The standard and customizable options are second to none. Its fuel economy is great. The auxilliary stereo input jack should be on every car considering the amount of MP3 players and laptops out there today! Also, I absolutely love the way the car handles and brakes.

Suggested Improvements

Two things: the automatic (that's all I've driven) performance is not the best. There should be more performance options available to increase HP. Also, a sunroof or moonroof option would be great. But those are the only improvements I can think of!

My Scion

Review

I was about to buy a Toyota Prius or a Corolla when I first test drove a Scion xA and I immediately fell in love with it. It has a great sitting position and road visibility. I love the outstanding Pioneer sound system. The cabin is quiet. The xA has excellent handling and is very stylish. The ride is a little choppy but that doesn't bother me too much. The seats are comfortable with plenty of legroom. Its fuel economy is very good. The automatic transmission responds well. Mine has factory installed side and head curtain airbags. I paid extra for the keyless remote entry and an alarm. Overall this car has been an excellent choice for city driving. It is not the fastest, but provides a nice driving experience on the highway. It's a best buy for the middle-aged like myself.

Favorite Features

The SUV-like high sitting position, stereo sound controls on the steering wheel, fuel economy, handling, quality and style, and the relatively low price for all the features it offers.

Suggested Improvements

Keyless entry should be standard. It needs a little more trunk space. The cabin needs more illumination when driving at night.
