Pro: cheap, stylish. Cons: underpower, no armrest, no cruise control This car is a very good economy car, @ around 14K it has power everything, plus an MP3 deck, and pionner speaker system, antilock brake, and the list goes on, it is very sporty looking, at this price range you won't find any other car that can offer the same amount of equipment, from the corolla to the civic. the design of the car looks nice and easy to use. The car is seriously under power, @ a mare 100HP it's a joke, but the little thing generate the same amount of power as a civic or a corolla, the MPG is a joke, on the highway the engine takes alot to get up to speed and that hinder the MPG. the tC is better IMO.
has to be the price, man they really stuff alot of equipment in a 14K car and the reliabitlity of toyota is to consider. The meters in the center dash is nice, it's very easy to see, the 5 door style is also good, no need to unlock the trunk.
they should give us the armrest, i spent 14K, atleast give me an armrest when i drive cruise control would seriously help this car in alot of way, the engine is small, it has to get high RPM on the freeway to get speed, and that just kill the MPG, cruise control would help alot. Bigger engine plz!!
Bought the car to replace the Subaru Legacy my son totalled. Initially bought it for the price found out that the car is a blast to drive. Very low maintenance so far with a super sound ssytem standard and fun to drive quotient of 100% make me extremely happy I bought this car
The Scion xA is economic transporation with an attitude. This review is on one of the 1550 Absolutely Red special release versions of the xA. This car is fun to drive, drinks gas from a sippy cup instead of from a can, and causes heads to turn when it drives by. Cruise control was an added option so longer trips aren't out of the question, although don't pack the big bags, especially if there are four of you, because there isn't a lot of cargo space. The xA won't win any quarter mile races but it doesn't do horrible when the accelerator is mashed to the floor for passing. With its light weight, it's easy to stop quickly when required. If you are looking for economy+quality+fun, it=Scion's xA
