Twice the dealer suggested having the rotors resurfaced at MY cost but I refuse since its been happening since the first day. My daughters 2007 Scion tc is haveing the same noise....wom wom wom as you describe it sounds the same. I had her replace her tires first because they needed it. Just to see if that would solve the problem...no it didn't. Then I replaced her brake pads all four tires... she had nearly 60k miles. It did nothing to eliminate the noise either. Problem with 2007 scion tc front speakers
When I listen to rock music the front speakers sound scratchy. It's not so noticable when I listen to music other than rock. I've tried lowering the treble and it helped a tiny bit but the speakers still sound bad. The dealer said it's "normal" and I'm just hearing symbols from the songs... Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone else have this problem?

cable stuck on aux port... HELP!!!!!
I have a 2007 scion tc and i love it. Well the other night me and my friends were cruising and had the i pod going and it was all good; however when we went to take the cable out out off of the aux port, part of the cable broke and now it's inside of the aux port and i can't get it out. what can I do???? help!

sure you could break it down further but I seriously doubt the results would be any different. If you conservatively estimate that only 1 in 4 are non-Si coupes, that is over 7,000 in April 07. we found a black one at the local dealership however it already has the security system installed. a $400+ option we were not really looking to get. i know the scions are pure price but how about the options or accessories? can we negotiate that price down of the alarm? has anyone had experience in doing this?

sells for only $15,000. That is one good bargain. The Scion tC holds it's value, in fact, I was checking on Kelley Blue Book.com the other day and a 2005 Scion tC was retailing for $19,490! I have a 2007 TC. The sunroof and rear hatch problems have been fixed ( I did my home work) Also fixed were the seat fabric issues and a new design for the radio cover. I have experienced no problems and have owned quite a number of cars in my life. It is a safe purchase and am old enough not to refer to purchasing any car as an investment.

As I mentioned the seat fabric on the spec is different, however I did notice any difference in comfort. I am however rather slight of build. I was not aware that side curtin airbags were standard and thought those remain an option. But there is a difference on the release series tC! Those seats are the most comfortable! It also comes standard with the Side Curtain Airbags!! That last one was anonymous to me until recently. For $19k(rounded, you get a lotta car with that release series tC!! Only if they would keep those seats... Or add the auto dimming mirror with home link... -Cj :)

I have seen the Spec and drove it. The seats are fine. The weave of the fabric is not as tight as the base model. That is not to say it is not durable, just different. A flint mica regular tC with optional fog lights, lip spoiler and the audio with the knobs. My local toyota dealer offers tCs with a leather interior and a bunch of other stuff. the 06's made this year and the 07's were fine, looks like toyota finally caught the hatch rattle. Yes you're right the first year production, which was 05 did have a lot of rattles which were taken care of later in 06. I am thinking about a Scion TC or Mazda 3 for my daughter. I love the idea of buying a Toyota(own a Lexus), however, I continue to see people posting issues with the rattle(back hatch I assume). I am amazed after over 2 years Toyota hasn't fixed this. Do people agree this is a problem, It looks like It still is. Thanks

Why still no 5-speed automatic? That's why the car is noisy for freeway cruising and gets lower highway gas mileage than many larger V6 cars. Annoying! I'm including the Classic Silver or Silver Streak Mica or whatever Scion is calling the 2007 Scion tC Spec's variety of Silver on my short list. A car like the tC is just right for the silver color. The Scion tC RS 1.0 that I test drove
had all the power I would want which is why I think the 2007 Scion tC Spec would suit me just fine straight from the factory. I might change out the wheels for some hand-picked ones. I am starting to like the Flint Mica color-it has that earth tone look but still looks really sporty at the same time. That's the one I'd pick.

There is now 2 trim levels!! The trem levels are spec and base. Spec is the cheaper model. The tc now has a msrp of $15k for a manual and $15,800 for the auto (still a 4speed). On spec models, there are only 4 exterior colors (black, classic silver, flint, and white) and a 16in steel is standard on spec models. There is no cruise control for the spec models and ... After reading again all of the 2006 issues...for now...I'm keeping my 100% TROUBLE FREE, NOISE FREE, never had ONE problem Nissan 1993 SE Hatchback for now. It is a very similar auto in power and design to the Scion, is almost 13 years old and has NEVER had to go to the dealer for a "problem". I still get offers on the spot to buy it for $6K-8K+ cash!
