I sure like the Scion tC. I test drove a 2005 Scion tC RS 1.0 in Absolutely Red in Idaho Falls, ID, in late 2006. I was there to test drive a 2006 Scion xA in Polar White and iPod connectivity, foglights and 5-speed manual. Ended up not getting either car but I liked how both drove, actually. Just wasn't the right time to buy. Glad I waited for my '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. ... Read More...

Re: Waiting for my 2006 Scion Tc [lildevil2o0o]
I'm having a similar issue. I ordered my TC on January 2nd (Flint Mica, Manual, Side Curtain Airbags, & a Pedastal Spoiler). I was told since I didn't want a TC from another dealer I'd have to wait, which I didn't have a problem with. The following week the salesman called & said they couldn't get the car I wanted & asked if I wanted to change any options or wait until ... Read More...

you're cracking me up! I test-drove a 2006 Polar White Scion xA. 5-speed, foglights, aux.mp3 hookup, only $14,295. And my son went along for the test-drive, not my wife. "How d'ya like it?" I asked my 25 y/o son. "It's OK." "Do ya have enough room back there", I asked, because I drove and the salesman rode in the passenger seat. "Yeah." I left, not able to trade our ... Read More...
2006 Scion tC Creaking: Suspension? Struts? Axels?
Hi, I bought a 2006 Scion tC three wks ago and recently I hear a creaking coming from wheel areas, front and back. (All other car noises have been taken care of). I owned two cars in the past that made the same noise and it was remedied with new struts or axels. Is it possible that a two year old car could have such a problem? What could have caused it? Thank you! Dana  Read More...
Resale Value
You're dead on with the 12K pricing. I have seen the Gen 1 priced from $11.5 to $14999 in the classifieds within a 80 mile radius of DC. And those are 2004-2006 years. Resale has really been good with the spike in gas prices and I am thankful that I"m not paying $50 for a fill-up. I stopped for gas yesterday and a Tahoe was across from me filling up. He was over $100 and not ... Read More...

No, but I would ask the dealer if he has a car you can use while you wait. That should speed things up a little... Read More...

Honda Civic Coupe vs. Scion tC
Re: 2006 Honda Civic Coupe vs. 2006 Scion tC [dmac12000]
Sorry, but I find it hard to believe that ALL Honda customer service is handing all of their issues. As a matter of fact, I have a hard time thinking that any car company does. My experience with my TC has been nothing but superb. At around 40k miles, I have only had a loose side mirror occur. This mirror was replaced by Toyota service with no gripes, grumbles, or glitches. ... Read More...
Re: 2006 Scion tC Creaking: Suspension? Struts? Axels? [jayna1]
Those are too few miles to be having suspension problems. Look under the hood and carriage and also in the back under the storage compartment of the spare. You might have something loose knocking around. Your car is still under factory warranty so a visit to your local Toyota/Scion dealer is not out of the question. Let us know how it goes. :) Mackabee Read More...

Thanks Mack. Only 22,000 miles. Wow, sounds like it could be many different things. Does the mileage narrow it down at all? Read More...
