Just picked my Saturn VUE (07) last week. Love it so far; how do you like a V4. I remember reading that when Olds went away, the biggest beneficiary of that was actually Hyundai, of all brands! As for Saturn, I don't think there are really that many buyers to worry about anymore. Here are the sales figures for the first 6 months of 2009... I have an 06 Vue. The wireing from the front of the Vue where the recepticle plugs in from the motorhome is totally isolated from the Vue system. The wireing runs underneath the Vue to the rear up into the taillight housing and seperate bulbs were mounted inside the housings. I am wiring my motorhome lights to the Saturn lights for towing. I would like to wire in under the hood instead of pulling up carpet, etc. to run all the way to the back of the car. I AM having similar problems! Most recent happened on vacation 1200 miles from home. Problems started just after purchase in May 2008. Dry conditions in summer. Locks popped up and down and almost all dash indicator lights and gauges "freaked out." Had the kids in the car and had to limp it home with the hazards on in the dark. Less than 1000 miles. My wife and I own a 2008 VUE (XR AWD) and we love it. It is our second VUE (first was an '05 V6 AWD) and the family has 3 other Saturns (L300, L200 and ION). We have been very happy with the service we've received from our local Saturn dealer and the cars have been reasonably reliable. Yes those statements are accurate. The Saturn Vue Hybrid models 2007 and 2008 are based upon the BAS system - for belt alternator starter. Basically, BAS is a big motor-generator in place of the vehicle's normal alternator. The big motor can deliver 6.7 horsepower at speed, and 48 pounds-feet of torque the moment it begins to turn, according to Saturn. That's ... Read More...

Typo on my part - Back in December of 2006 Hybrid Vue cost $2250 MORE that the Regular view. The numbers in my situation follow my logic. One should run the numbers prior to making a decision. Kip, Happy Veterans Day. Semper Fi. I spent 6 years in the service. Since you state you are considering a hybrid. Would I buy a 2008 Hybrid Vue? The answer is no. Saturn has significantly jacked up the price on the 2008 GreenLines. I think the payback is questionable on the 2008s.
