A few posts back I have a link to an article and picture of the 2008 vue. I like the looks of the current model much more. They are getting rid of the Polyester panels. I was told by a dealer it was because they wanted to save money. Big mistake I think. The current model is very cute. The 2008 just doesn't do anything for me. We just bought a 2008 VUE Redline and love it, and we have 16 grandchildren. The small ones are held in great in car seats in the back. Best get the XE though if your looking for better mileage. Or, wait for the Greenline to arrive. Geo. Read More...

Plastic to Metal

I just read in the other forum that they are going to change the panels to metal from plastic in 2008. How stupid is Saturn. Thats one thing that is a plus. I have never seen a Saturn with the plastic panels that looked bad. They get a good technology and then dump it to save a buck. Your mechanic is correct - Saturn is sending out another recall letter. However, they are NOT replacing the whole Hybrid battery. The 2004 Vue has a switch to activate the heated seats. I was told that the 2008 Vue I am seeking to purchase also has heated seats, but I do not see a switch to activate the heated seats.
