"In any case, the information is wrong. Both the Toyota Highlander and Ford Escape (both full dual mode "full" hybrids) offer either FWD or AWD" Toyota disagrees with you: In any case, the information is wrong. "From the article i've read, the Vue Green Line will be the first hybrid SUV available in front-wheel-drive only. " Sounds like you work for Saturn, or you copied those words off of a Saturn website. In any case, the information is wrong. Both the Toyota Highlander and Ford Escape (both full dual mode "full" hybrids) offer either FWD or AWD. Read More...

Re: 2007 Saturn Vue Greenline Hybrid [pf_flyer]

The 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line sport-utility vehicle offered improved fuel economy over gas-only Vues, via a less complicated hybrid system used by Toyota and Ford. From the article i've read, the Vue Green Line will be the first hybrid SUV available in front-wheel-drive only. Less Complex System with Vue Green Line uses an electric motor and nickel-metal ... Saturn VUE Green Line - Real World MPG Numbers

Re: Vue GreenLine Mileage is.... [kallop]

There is some confusion here. Saturn did not change the EPA mileage estimate on the 2007 Vue Green Line. Perhaps the confusion is caused by the facts that, for the 2008 model year, Saturn has a new Vue and the EPA has changed the rules on window sticker labels. I see you've made several posts regarding Vue Green Line. I'd like to know your vehicle identification number ... Read More...

Battery Harness Issue

After just a week and a half and 800 kilometers (500 miles) with our 2007 Vue Hybrid, the hybrid component stopped working. The battery warning light, abs light, and various other dash light components came on shortly thereafter. I spoke with Saturn and had an onstar diagnostic done which returned nothing and was told the vehicle was safe to drive. When I drove ... Read More...

Re: Article Comments: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Follow-Up Test [dsauvage]

Counterpoint: The Saturn Vue Hybrid that I purchased is now eight months old, has racked up almost 17,000 miles in business use, and I have no rattles, squeaks, or complaints with fit, finish, or performance. I work on a rough construction site, fold the passenger and rear seats up and down on a weekly basis, and have towed a 2000 lb load over 300 miles of hilly territory ... Read More...

Re: Article Comments: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Follow-Up Test [KarenS]

The Saturn Vue Hybrid I purchased is only 2 months old and I have had to replace one because parts were rattling in the door and dash and the second one already had a blowout that almost flipped the car. Onstar took forever to send someone out. They now suggest a get a spare at my expense and put it in the cargo area. So now I can smell rubber the whole ride and have lost all ... Read More...

Re: What's a lame duck... [detroit_rex]

Rex, Please take this as constructive criticism from a scientist who has written over 80 peer-reviewed publications. I am not trying to give you too hard of a time on this one. I did read your article. I re-read it to be certain of my initial interpretation. The article's title and the paragraph concerning "lame duck" are very misleading and somewhat nebulous ...
