Saturn VUE Hybrid
Vehicle
2007 Saturn VUE Green Line 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid 4A)
Review
It drives nice, handles very well and is comforable to drive. The passenger seat could be improved for comfort by making the seat more flexible in range up and down and other adjustments. Storage is adequate for the size of the vehicle and is what we expected when we downsized.
Favorite Features
We like the SUV style for the price. There is plenty of room for all passengers of normal size. Easy access to cargo area and cargo storage has some user friendly features not found in other SUV's.
Suggested Improvements
The passenger seat neads some improvement for comfort, needs upand down adjustments added. The color choices should be expanded to match the rest of the Saturn line.

Unpleasant noises
Vehicle
2007 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
Review
Many virbration noises on rough pavement. Wind noise is bad at highway speed, especially on windy days. Very little interior storage in passenger area. Coffee cup holders are small. Interior materials appear very cheap and ill fitting.
Favorite Features
Appearance is good, mileage is fair (24 mph highway)
Suggested Improvements
Eliminate rattles and wind noise. Upgrade interior materials and make them fit better. Improve interior cab storage

I had no idea!
Vehicle
2007 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
Review
I had no idea it was fast as it turns out to be. Running 45 MPH and step on it to pass, you better have both hands on the wheel. The six speed Auto trans is really fun. I had an '05 Tahoe 4WD, now I go the same miles on half the gas. It's really amazing, a fun to drive, fast gas sipper.
Favorite Features
Sunroof, XM radio, OnStar, and that super 3.5 Honda motor.
Suggested Improvements
Some how control the torque steer.

Great Mieage with soft foot

Traded in 2006 Tiburon for more space. I was hesitant because I was getting 30 mpg with the Tiburon. I only have 400 miles on the VUE so after it breaks in I am sure I will get at least 1 mpg better. So far I drove 102 highway miles filled up with 3.3 gallons and got 30.7 mpg. Then I drove 59.5 city miles filled up with 2.02 gallons for 29.5 mpg and finally 82.2 mostly highway miles filled up with 2.7 gallons for 30.4 mpg. Granted I haven't gone faster than 65 mph but usually don't. I think the main factor for the mileage is resisting the temptation of accelerating hard. Nice and gradual and it pays off! So far I really enjoy the VUE.
Favorite Features
Headroom, polymer side panels, and gas mileage for a vehicle that I feel safe driving. Also Saturn giving you 30 days/1500 miles to exchange vehicle for a different Saturn. That is why I am checking gas mileage so often. If it isn't good I trade down to a Ion 3 Quad
Suggested Improvements
Inside locking gas cover. I understand that it is almost impossible to siphon gas due to narrow throat and wire but if there is a will there is a way.

I am impressed

2007 Saturn VUE Green Line 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid 4A)
Review
This car is stable and true to it's EPA mileage. True 29 to 32 highway and 22 to 24 in town. While this is not 50 mpg this is a small SUV with nice room inside and good manners all around. The hybrid system is seamless and there is no negative to it that I have found. My hope is to run it for a long time. I have had no problems. Great car nice price.
Favorite Features
Just a fun car. Easy to own. I get lots of looks because the cypress green changes color.
Suggested Improvements
Highway wind noise, sleeker nose. 2008 may be better on these.

Value and Very Safe!
Vehicle
2007 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV (2.2L 4cyl 4A)
Review
We just bought this SUV and really like the design and look. Good gas mileage! The base model has electric everything, self dimming lights, cruise OnStar, phone, directions, side air bags, and $4000 incentive. It is quiet and steady, a well rounded choice. It not a race car, but for soccer, camping and going to the lake it fills the bill.
Favorite Features
OnStar, and just the right size for $3.00 a gallon gas.

Second VUE in 3 months

Over-all we love the Vue, but have just had a wheel bearing failure on the newest Vue after only 12K miles. A coworker has a 2006 Vue and has had to replace the left front wheel bearing twice. Symptoms appear as road noise that you think is tire noise on pavement as they wear. I knew I had a problem when I went form pavement to a dirt road the pitch of the noise never changed. Dealer has confirmed its a bad bearing. A dissapointing run of bearing failures that appears to be ongoing into the 2007 model year.
Favorite Features
MP3 plug-into the stereo, tight steering, sunroof.
Suggested Improvements
More power plug-in's would be great, in front and in back.

Nice and quiet. Great mileage. Could have done more with interior and increased the quality, but for a mid-size SUV, it is acceptable. Great basic surround sound.
Favorite Features
iPod hookup
Suggested Improvements
Add a spare tire.

I bought a Saturn VUE in January. I have put 20k on the VUE in the past 3 months and am very satisfied. It is very peppy and the fuel economy has averaged 25-26.5 overall
Favorite Features
Love those heated seats and the IPOD tie in.
Suggested Improvements
On board computer like some of the other GM vehicles would be nice.

2007 Saturn VUE 4 cylinder
Vehicle
2007 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV (2.2L 4cyl 5M)
Review
We bought the VUE after driving a Plymouth Vibe for 11 months. Our decision to purchase the VUE came after trying to get home during a bad snowstorm with the Vibe. The VUE is the most safe, reliable car I have ever driven in the snow and ice and rain.
Favorite Features
The ride is very comfortable, and I love the OnStar feature. It makes me feel very safe.
Suggested Improvements
The only thing I would change is the ability to open the doors when the vehicle is in drive. I would also expect to get better gas mileage with a 4 cylinder. We are currently getting only 23/24 mpg.
