2006 Saturn VUE Road Test Ratings

Not known for its handling abilities, the Vue offers large interior space and the simplicity of GM's interior control layout.

The electronic power steering lacks feel and precision. Large tires give a good steady feel albiet with a lot of body roll. Changes in direction are not executed with grace. The Vue Green Line hybrid version is new this year.

The ride is a bit busy and the seats are only average. Rear seat passengers will enjoy larger than average space.

The controls will be familiar to GM fans but aren't class leading. There is plenty of space for hauling but the rear seats don't fold flat.

The Vue's exterior look is not universally praised. The interior, upgraded in 2006, now has average materials and the design still contains a few incongruities.
