Any luck on this Marshall15? I'm trying to accomplish the same thing in order to replace the power window motor. I spent the better part of a day figuring out how to get the inside panel completely apart..but you can't change the motor from the inside unless you used to work for the circus. I got the outside panel to nearly come off..but can't get the door handle off. ... Read More...

I have removed many a inside door panel in my 38 years of repairing vehicles but this vehicle has to be my first stump. All I want to do is get inside the drivers door and remove the electric motor as it bit the dust right in the middle of a downpour. I own a 2008 VUE with a V6. Car makers lie about the mpg you can expect. They have written many stories about that, so why the surprise attitudes. I am getting 18.333 After filling the tank and driving 200 miles I am 18.333 MPG. They claimed I can expect 22-24 MPG. In there defense at the change of the light I move quickly, I do not drive slow. The shift knob located in the centre console has detached from the transmission shifter. It can actually be removed. However, when in place the transmission functions properly (i.e. I can move it from park to reverse, neutral, drive etc.). I have a 2002 Saturn Vue and its run well for 4 years now until lately. I can drive for about 30 minutes and then the engine shuts off. Electricity is fine still, so its not the alternator since my battery doesn't drain fast. Two Questions Does anyone know the recommended frequency of a tune up for the 2002 Saturn Vue. Mine has just over 106,000 km and has never had a tune up. I've checked the owners manual and there is no mention in the maitenance and repair section. Doreen, I have a 2002 Vue, manual 5 speed, front wheel drive with the 4 cylinder engine and I replace my rotors every 50,000 miles or so. The rotors that Saturn (GM) provide are pieces of junk and you should not invest your money in them. I purchased high performance racing rotors (slotted rotors, zinc plated) on the Internet a year ago for my Vue and installed them ... Read More...
