Don't get one
By Vermont mom on
2002 Saturn VUE AWD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 5A)
My 23 month old Vue already has over
$2500 in repairs. A front wheel bearing
went, and recently, I had to have the
engine rebuilt and the sway bar
replaced. The oil vent got condensate,
froze and forced all the oil out my
dipstick, oil light never came on, and
it ruined my engine. Sway bar? never
heard of THAT breaking.
It is fun to drive, when it's not
sitting in the Saturn repair shop. But
it is no where rugged enough for
Vermont winters, dirt roads, and a
driver who expects to pay for the car
before repairs begin.
Steering wheel is low, even on highest
setting. Not rugged enough. My car in
particular had issues with bearings all
over the place. WAY too many repairs
for a new car.
