This was my second vehicle, and I had it for about two years. My little sister drives it now. My first car was 92 Saturn SL1, so the power features (locks and winders) of the SL2 were a nice upgrade. Great gas mileage. Small tank, but I still took that thing for nearly 400 miles before I filled it up. Back in 07 I remember it only took $20 bucks to fill it up. Great car for point A to point B commuting. Not gonna turn any heads, but that's not what this car is for.
Gas mileage, reliability.
Better alternators. I guess SL's had a problem with them, because I changed out 3 alternators between my two SL models that I owned. They aren't that expensive though, only about a $500 repair bill.
