Keeps on going

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

Great acceleration and smooth ride after all these years. Just done routine maintenance and still using original parts, except battery. Recently drove it loaded down cross- country and now I drive all over the Rockies with it in winter and summer. Good stability in heavy winds at high speed.

Fantastic sl

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

I couldn't be happier with this car. With 230K miles, I've only replaced minor components, plus usual wear and tear, like 1 alternator, 1 battery. 5 sets of tires. Suspension is original, motor never gone into, still gets mid 30sMPG, doesn't burn oil. Interior still excellent, paint peeling from desert sun to be expected.

Who knew?

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

Who Knew that a Saturn was a good car. I wrecked my old car and needed another to commute 40 miles round trip to work. I cam across a '94 SL1 with 35K miles on it......I did a double take, and investigated and it looked to be a real deal. My first driving impressions was that it was ok, but it grew on me. Odometer went out and had to be repaired, but other than that, its a winner. It rides well and has decent performance. You will like the fuel economy and the reliability.

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

This has been an amazingly trouble free car. It is 11 years old, consistently gets better than 38 MPG (Hwy) and has had very little maintenance. In fact, I have had 4 repairs (outside regular maintenance) in 9 years of owning the vehicle, and the most expensive was $400.

No worries car

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

For Sure. No worries with this car whatsoever. Clutch is a bit weak after 150k miles But I've never had a major repair in the 4 years I've owned it. I purchased the car from the original owner, and they hadn't had to fix anything on it either. I'm even quite lazy with oil changes and the car never breaks. Even if you don't have power steering the car is easy to turn. And since the engine is tiny you gain more POWER without power steering! A great car. I may buy a second in the same year. No dents. RESPECT THE PLASTIC! I've been in several fender benders, and total repair costs in both accidents haven't even gone above $300 for new fenders!

Excellent student car

Vehicle: 1994 Saturn S-Series SL 4dr Sedan

I bought my SL with 58000 miles on it, and I put another 60000 miles on it over the next three years. I NEVER had any problem with it, only non-standard maintenance was a starter motor replacement at 100000 miles. I bought a Volkswagen after I started work, but it sadly was nowhere as close to reliable! I also got great mileage - 35 city, 43 highway. I would strongly recommend Saturn as a used car purchase folks on a budget looking for a cheap, ultra- reliable car.
