As the owner of a Lincoln Town Car and
having an invalid wife I need something
that could easily handle a wheelchair
and that would enable me to sit my wife
in the front passenger seat without
problems. It outdoes the Town Car in
every respect. Just as responsive.
Just as comfortable, easier storage
access. Rides as well and a lot more
economical on gas mileage. I made an
excellent choice of vehicle.

2002 Saturn L-Series LW200 4dr Wagon (2.2L 4cyl 5M)

The Saturn LW200 Wagon offers an excellent mix of functionality, performance and value. We went in to take a closer look at the Saturn Vue which appears to be a big hit, but the ZERO PERCENT financing on the L Series was a no brainer. Although the quality is slightly lower than a comparable Passat Wagon (which we also owned), we feel the difference in price and the Saturn buying experience outweighs our initial hesitation to buy an American product. And let's face it, zero interest means none, nada, nothing added to each payment. We love our Saturn!

I bought my 2002 L300 back in November (now have 7500 miles on it) and have absolutely loved it since the day I drove it off the lot. The gas mileage is very good and the ride is smooth with plenty of pick-up. We drove the car from Texas to Illinois and back again and had absolutely no problems -- those fold-down rear seats are a wonder when transporting lots of trunk items and for keeping pets off the upholstery! We've had no need for any service on the vehicle (except an oil change). I would recommend this car to EVERYONE who wants a nice mid-size sedan without paying an arm and a leg.

I dorve a 99SL2 for 3.5 years. I was involved in a minor finder binder. I had a rental for 3 days during it's repair. I drove a 2002 L200. I returned the rental on Thursday and on Saturday I went to buy one. It is so much roomier than my SL2 and the pick up was great. All of the featurs that are standard on this car are extra on other makes, I couldn't believe I could afford this much car. I know all about Saturn's reputation, and it is a pretty good one. No car is perfect but it is all in how you are treated by the people who sold you the car, and yor trust to repair it. My Saturn dealership is WONDERFUL.

We bought our Saturn a year ago, and had moved up from a SW2 Wagon, which served us extremely well. We also very much liked the VW Passat. This car, even fully loaded, was thousands less. As city dwellers, we can't justify spending thousands on a car that will see its share of abuse from tight parking spaces, etc. The car is very well made and handles extremely well. A sport wagon that makes you feel as though you are in a European wagon (you are--it is an Opel Vectra with a Saab engine) costing thousands more.

Purchased this car based on a short test drive, Saturn's reputation and percieved value with GM's .9% financing. A dome light rattle drove me nuts & the service mgr didn't hear anything. It was fixed when a GM service bulletin was issued for the problem. Tires have also been a prob. On my first complaint they rebalanced the front tires. On the 2nd trip in they replaced the front and rebalanced the rear. At 7500 the dealer rotated the tires & front end shake again. They "fine" balanced the front tires & all is well. We took a trip this month & everything in the trunk ends up soaked! The dealer replaced the trunk seal and carpet/liner. All this & I just crossed the 8K mark this month.

I bought an LW300 near the end of the 2001 model year. The complaint that I have was that I'm not sure that the dealer was totally up front about all the cars available and I went ahead and chose a car that was more expensive than I wanted. But I love the car, which is a switch in that most Saturn owners love the dealer and like that car but I think that this car is great and I would recommend it to anyone.
