Re: q [danny14]
Greetings danny14. General Motors Acceptance Corp., Saturn's captive finance company, publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. You can convert its published lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a lease of a 2006 Saturn ... Re: Interested Consumer on 2006 Saturn Ion-3 [cschneider3]
I bought my 05 Ion Coupe 3 about a year ago and have had nothing but headaches. First I had issues with the passive security system shutting off gas to the engine so I would have to pull over and turn the car off. Then my horn stopped working. My current problems include gas gauge fluctuations, a cruise control that works sometimes, a questionable oil life monitor, ... Read More...
Re: Interested Consumer on 2006 Saturn Ion-3 [cschneider3]
I bought my first Saturn 10 months ago. I bought the Saturn Ion 3. The car ran beautifully for the first 6 months. I took in the first few months for minor things like hearing wind through the passenger window and sun roof and they replaced the seal (twice now). Well then I started having a problem with the ignition. I couldn't get the key to come out of the ignition. ... Read More...
Re: Interested Consumer on 2006 Saturn Ion-3 [cschneider3]
You should do more research on the Saturn Ion. Saturn is a very different company from when they made the S-series. Also there is a replacement for the Ion coming soon which looks more promising thant the current model. Read More...
Interested Consumer on 2006 Saturn Ion-3
My parents are currently in the market for a new vehicle and am inquiring about problems/issues with the Saturn Ion 3 models. We had 2 Saturns both SL2's, one was manual and the other automatic. Both cars have treated us well and barely had any problems and we had over 190,000 miles on them before we traded them in. So my parents trust the cars and know that they will ... Read More...
Re: Leasing info for 2006 ION 3 [brak]
Hey brak. If you were to lease a 2006 Saturn ION 3 Sedan through General Motors Acceptance Corp. right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its base lease rate factor and residual value should be 2.3% and 49%, respectively. Car_man Host Smart Shopper / Prices Paid Forums Read More...
Smart Buy on 2006 ION 3
Got a great deal and the full Saturn experience, the whole staff introduced themselves. They even paid the last three payments of the leased vehicle I was currently driving..... Note: It really helps to walk in with a great credit score 750+ as this lets them know you can buy any car, any where....... Read More...
Cars You Hate/Cars You Would Kill
Astra
From information floating around on the internet, Looks like we won't get the 3 door Astra, or the 3 door Vue replacement? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Antara Says the 2 door from the shows won't come here, but will be replaced by a 4 door( I think they meant 2 door-hatch, 4 door -hatch?). The 4 door is not horrible, but the 2(3) door is 10x's more interesting. ... Read More...

Re: I don't know why [uga91]
Hey, Long time, no see. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have your 2003 ION anymore. We bought the 1st-year models in the same year. My 2003 silver ION2 passed the 50K-mile mark a couple hundred miles ago. We're out of warranty, but it hasn't acted up on us yet. Knock on wood. Just regular oil changes and a couple light bulbs. The upholstery could use some shampooing. ... Read More...
