I recently bought my 2005 Saturn Ion 2 in Febuary 2011 with 38k miles. and the only problem ive had with my car so far was the Coolant Sensor which i had to replace last month. Other than that i have had no other issues.
It gets good gas mileage and drives smooth.
Favorite features ... the interior and exterior. no complaints.
do wish the "window lock" button locked the front windows not just the back.
Its early. You will experience the following:
Power steering will go out. GM has recalled it.
Ignition control module will go out even after being fixed several times by certified mechanics. Not being recalled by GM
Anti theft device won't allow your car to start because of a glitch in the system. GM is not recalling it even a lot of customers are having this problem.
Sorry to depress you but the saturn has electrical/computer issues.
Did you have a Saturn Ion as well and how much (HONESTLY) were you spending if so?
Well all i can say is i have hope that will i got one of the saturn ions that doesnt have all these problems and it only has like 1 or 2...
So im assuming if i took my car to GM they would fix the recalls but as i read GM im surprised didnt really take action! :(
Have you ever heard (im assuming) the "joints" in the front, almost every time when you hit a bump does it kinds of "pop"
I know and dont believe its because its a 4cyl because thats all ive owned is 4cyl sedans....
Thanks for you output no depression caused lol.
