Saturn Aura XR 18 inch wheels chrome, suggested Navi
Before ordering my new 2007 Saturn Aura XR (love this car, will save for 2008 purchase), what is the best way to get the 18 inch standard ultrabright alloy wheels changed for 18 inch chrome wheels, as part of the order ? I think the upgrade would be worth it considering it is within my price range. Or should I just arrange with the salesman to sell me after market 18 inch ... Read More...
Re: Saturn Aura [vanman1]
I traded a 06 TDI Jetta completely loaded with package 2 in on the Aura EX with one option, the power seats and heated mirrors. I used the refund from the extended warranty from the Jetta to go title for title. I liked driving the Jetta, but hated the maintenance and inconvenience and the manitenance cost. Also looking for diesels stations which for me were out of ... Read More...

Re: Saturn - What Exactly Does It Stand For? [1487]
You think the old Altima interior is better than the current one? Well, I was only able to judge a new 2006 Altima vs. an Auto-Show veteran 2007, which already looked rough and beaten up somewhat. The design of the 2006 wasn't bad to me, but I don't like the busy-ness of the 2007 version. I don't necessarily mean, quality, but design. Honestly, it doesnt matter. You ... Read More...
Re: Saturn - What Exactly Does It Stand For? [thegraduate]
The hybrid will be the Aura's four cyliner model and will get 28/35 using 2007 ratings. There's your four cylinder. If you want a cheaper four cylinder the G6 is available and the Malibu will be this summer. BTW, the Aura hyrbid will not be much more than a COMPARABLY equipped Acccord/Camry four cylinder. We all know that those two cars start under $20k but the models ... Read More...

Nope, I would say the New Malibu 2008 and the Aura 2007 are direct competition to the Accord and Camry. Malibu and Aura will be a choice of styles, the Aura looking more like the Opel / Euro look. -Loren Read More...

Re: Article Comments 2007 Saturn Aura XR Follow-up Test [KarenS]
Does anyone proofread these articles before posting them? This Aura was a XR model, not a XE. This is clearly muddled by the author. Also his specs for the Accord's V6 are all wrong. It has 244hp and 211 torque, significantly LESS than the Aura XR. Read More...

Re: Aura 4cyl? [62vetteefp]
Saturn's website list mileage as 28/35 for the hybrid which would be better than every competing 4 cylinder midsize sedan. I assume that is using 2007 standards so the real mileage is likely to be 26/32 or so. I dont think Saturn really expects to be a huge volume car like the Malibu and thus the gas only four cylinder wont be offered. Having a hybrid powertrain standard ... Read More...

Have any of you guys seen it? Have any of you checked it out? Test drove an XR two weeks ago. The one I test drove had a leather trimmed interior but not the Morocco Brown version. I did sit in one with the Morocco Brown leather and thought it way over the top. Anyway my impressions of the Aura XR are: Interior is nice (except the Morocco Brown). Exteriors of the 2007 Camry, ... Read More...
