Re: Looking for new car to get by the end of the year or start of 2007 [heavensoldier]
... something new that a lot of people don't have yet. The biggest difference is that late this year or early next year, few people will be driving around in 2007 Altimas, but there will be about 1.7 million people driving around in the current-generation Accords. The Saturn Aura and Chrysler Sebring are also brand-new for 2007. You'll have to decide if you think ... Read More...
Re: The Aura... [lahiri]
If you've been following the vue, for 2007, the vue hybrid has a 4speed auto, not a CVT. The aura may use a 5speed auto but still, not a CVT. The aura green-line -hybrid- has a 2.4l I4 and the rest is similar to the hybrid VUE. While we're on the topic of saturn vehicles, i guess its good to know that the ion will be dropped for the Astra in a few years. -Cj :) Read More...
Re: 4 cylinder sedans [growwise]
"The way I see it....One year from now, buyers would have a good choice with 1. 2007 Nissan Altima 2. 2007 Toyota Camry 3. 2008 Honda Accord (hopefully fall 07) 4. 2007 Saturn Aura 5. 2007 Chrysler Sebring 6. 2008 Subaru Legacy?? 7. 2008 Chevy Malibu?? 8. 2007 VW Passat Did I miss out on any? Anyways, its a good thing as I would be in the market in a year or two... I would ... Read More...
Re: 4 cylinder sedans [venus537]
Give the consumer more credit than that. Sales of the Altima have gone up dramatically since its last redesign. If the new generation is yet another improvement, then its sales will get even better. New gen is slowly growing on me. Looks like it might wind up taking some sales away from big brother Max. 07 altima but the field is going to get hot in couple years... ... Read More...
g6
The g6 gets the new powertrain for 2007 and Pontiacs website hasnt been updated yet. The '07 G6 is in production right now. The Aura and G6 GTP will drive the same. People are really down on the G6 for whatever reason and dont want to acknowledge the facts. Read the C&D comparo that featured the GTP several months ago. The acceleration, braking and handling were very ... Read More...

I'm definitely looking forward to this new Altima as well. I'm guessing we'll soon get a taste of Nissan's second round of products within the next two to three months seeing as the new Sentra gets here Early to Mid October (just in time for my 21st birthday no less!!!!) I'm looking forward to the Sentra especially seeing as it hasn't been redesigned since 2000. ... Read More...
Re: nav [venus537]
Newsflash: The G6 now has a 252hp V6 just like the Aura. This is old news and this is more power than the Accord and far more torque. I think the majority of people would agree the G6 is better looking than the Accord. Looks have never been one of the G6's problems as far as I know. Navigation is more convenient FOR GETTINF DIRECTIONS, but a nav system cannot do the other ... Read More...

Re: How come so many hate the Sonata? [bhmr59]
Your response ignored the question of what new mid-size car to buy for under $20,000. You can get a new 2006 nissan altima 2.5s thats very well equipped for $20,100 msrp(automatic and even less for a manual) but since its the last year for this model, a lot less! Also a new 2007 Saturn AURA xe with a 3.5l V6 for $19945 msrp and it well equipped and a brand new model! A chevrolet ... Read More...
