2006 Saab 9-2X Road Test Ratings

A favorite young outdoor enthusiasts, the Saab 9-2X with its all-wheel drive capability and small cargo hold is ready to go from the beach to the mountains.

All-wheel drive confidence, linear steering response and healthy torque from the 2.5-liter flat-four turbo engine make the 9-2X entertaining to drive.

Good driving position but a bit short on space for tall drivers. Nice ride comfort.

Decent control layout, but the wagon cargo capacity is modest.

Saab styling works better than the Subaru WRX on which this car is based.
