The 2007 Kia Rio5 is a sign of things to come in the economy segment. While it won't be posing a major threat to anything above it, the Rio5 will win some business from buyers looking for a pleasant drive, useful features and overall comfort from a bargain-basement vehicle. With a peppy 110-horsepower engine, the Rio5 can move when you need to, offering plenty of acceleration for normal use. There are some places for improvement, as the interior plastics appear cheap and the seats aren't comfortable for some passengers. But in the end, this vehicle is an impressive offering in a segment that few would have dreamed could exist.
