Winner: Mercedes E-Class

This wagon isn't cheap. But for buyers shopping for a premium station wagon with utility, safety and security, the Mercedes-Benz E320 wagon has all three qualities in spades. It is powered by a 3.2-liter V6 engine making 221 horsepower, and all models have a TouchShift automanual transmission. The E320 offers seven-passenger seating, and with both seats folded down you have 83 cubic feet. Mercedes also offers an optional 4Matic all-wheel-drive system that provides extra grip on slippery roads in foul weather.
