Full-size Pickup

Ford F-Series Winner: Ford F-Series

Despite the recent introduction of new full-size GM and Toyota pickups, Ford's versatile F-Series lineup offers pickup-truck buyers superior selection from a wide range of light- and heavy-duty models. F-150 light-duty trucks are the best-selling vehicles in the world. Availability ranges from sturdy work trucks to luxurious four-wheelers with four-door extended cabs to a true 360-hp muscle truck that can spank many sport coupes on the street and at the track. Curvaceous sheetmetal, a carlike interior, comfortable seats and powerful overhead-cam engines are hallmarks of the F-150. Super duty F-250 and F-350 pickups have rugged big-rig styling and an interior with an industrial ambience. Regular-, extended- and crew-cab body styles are available; you can tow as much as 10,000 pounds and benefit from GVWRs reaching above 11,200 pounds. Optional on Super Duty trucks is a torque-pig turbodiesel V8 making 500 ft-lbs. of twist at 1,600 rpm, but to get this added grunt you've gotta spend some big green. Yep, Ford's got everyone's pickup needs covered with the incredibly popular F-Series trucks.
