Honda is poised to sell 60,000 of its all-new Odyssey minivans this year--and that's a minimal estimate for the largest Honda ever built. For '99, our minivan of choice touts a class-leading 3.5-liter 24-valve VTEC V6 engine that makes 210 horsepower @ 5,200 rpm and 229 foot-pounds of torque @ 4,300 rpm. It also comes with standard dual sliding doors that can be opened automatically, providing both practicality and gee-whiz appeal. With its popular third row seat that folds into the floor and its second row split seats that can be joined to make a bench, the Odyssey will take families into the minivan millenium.
