Winner: Ford F-250 Super Duty

Let's see...how much truck can we squeeze under the $25,000 mark? Well, a number of Ford F-250 Super Duty models equipped with a 6.8-liter V10 engine fit in quite nicely. Possibilities range from a 2WD SuperCab with Lariat trim to a 2WD Crew Cab XLT to a 4WD SuperCab in basic XL guise. The V10's 275 horsepower and 410 foot-pounds of torque are quite adequate at moving the truck's bulk up to speed in short order, or for hauling around massive pieces of farm equipment. The interior is not as refined as what you'll find in other full-sized trucks, but we're talking about performance here, not luxury. And for under $25,000, the F-250 Super Duty brings a lot of beef to the table.
