Following 21 years of overblown excess, the XK8 replaced their porky XJS sport coupe with a car that is sleek and refined. It is not usual for Edmunds.com'sSM to prefer a coupe to its convertible sibling, but we find the Jaguar XK8's unbroken roofline one of the sexiest shapes on any current car. The performance figures for the XK8 are there, too. Drivers can hit 60 mph in well under seven seconds in the XK8, and can come to a stop from 60 mph in less than 130 feet.
