Looking Forward: The Buzz
BMW
2006 M3 Based on the next-generation 3 Series sedan, this high-powered four-door will drop the traditional inline six-cylinder engines in favor of a larger, more powerful V8. This could be the first M car to do without a manual gearbox as BMW is leaning toward clutchless manuals for all of its future performance cars.
2007 X5 After a mild refresh for 2004, the X5 will get a full redesign in 2007 that's expected to included a standard model as well as a stretched version that will include third-row seating.
