2003 Ford SVT Cobra
"Picked up my Cobra yesterday. Put about 100 miles on it so far. Driver seat is
nice. Tons of adjustment controls (passenger side doesn't have the controls).
Incredible acceleration, even in fifth gear. The engine is not too loud either
unless you trigger the supercharger. The supercharger makes the car sound like
a jet airplane. Trunk-mounted amplifiers are nice. Instrument panel tells
you the pounds of pressure the supercharger is producing, which is cool. Sonic
Blue looks great at night. The chrome exhaust pipes are very wide and add a lot
of character. This car is definitely a keeper." Rocket Man, Oct. 27,
2002
"The SVT Cobra is definitely 'Deceptively Fast.' There's no racket in the cabin
to suggest your extra-legal velocity. And how they got a 3,700-pound car to handle
so nimbly is amazing. The Cobra is surprisingly 'tossable.' The downside to
the Cobra is that it is a $16,000 car with a fabulous driveline and suspension.
The interior doesn't scream quality. But for $34,750 (if you can find one at that
price), the performance this car delivers is well worth every penny!" rtking,

"Seems the Blue Oval guys got it right this time. Fun to drive, good to look
at and all priced right. Drive it down the road and relax or throw it into a corner
and have fun. Already been to the track Rt 66 and had a 12.88 and only was
beat by a Z06 by a fenderwell, forget the Cameros and Firebirds. All with only
450 miles on it. Thanks, Ford." JB830, Sept. 23, 2002
2003 Chevrolet Corvette
"Having never owned a Corvette before, I expected all of the stereotypes to be
true, such as a cramped interior, lousy build quality and so forth. None of these
have proven to be true. The performance is truly exceptional, it is easy to
drive long distances and nothing has broken or begun to rattle, even with trips
to the drag strip and a few road courses. In fact, I frequently choose this
over my Mercedes SL to drive to work, which surprised even me." Chris

"This car handles well and the Z06 exhaust sounds so good. It's the best value
and the design of the engine allows for easy access. That means when the car
needs some repair work, it'll be easy to work on and costs less." Chiwei,

"I have been driving a coupe for about two weeks now. It is simply outstanding
and a joy. It is nearly broken in, so I am starting to push it. This car FLIES.
Very comfortable, and the car has been flawless. Handles great, accelerates great
and has awesome stopping power. I have the six-speed manual, and it is highly
recommended." Ted Derth, Aug. 22, 2002
2002 Acura NSX
"For those who rate sports cars by their ability to 'flex' their muscles (i.e.
raw horsepower), then you'll be surprised that this 'merely 290-hp' NSX can outrun
most stock sports cars that has more much more horsepower on the drag strip as
well as on the track. The engine has the second best soundtrack of any sports
car. (I rank Ferraris on the top of my list.) Words aren't enough to describe
the feeling this car gives to the driver or even the passenger. You MUST drive
this car for yourself to realize it's worth every penny." NSX Prototype,
Oct. 31, 2002
"The more I researched this car, the more I thought I'd like it, but I hadn't
even begun to understand how much I'd have liked it. Driving this car is as
fun as driving it for the first time every time I get in it. Truly spectacular.
Worth the extra 30 thousand dollars over the Corvette this thing has *soul*."

"I'd driven a Z06 for a few days before buying the NSX. Here's a comparison: The
Z06's steering is too light. No feel. Shifting is trucklike. Body rigidity is
worse than my 11-year-old Honda. Ergonomics are pathetic. Controls are vintage
1970. Build quality is poor. Wavy panels, uneven gaps. Acceleration and braking
are much better than the NSX. Handling is about equal. The Z06 feels half-sports
car and half-truck. The shift feel is horribly coarse. This car feels like an
old, rattly crapbox with a big engine stuffed into it. There is none of the high-tech
feel one gets from most modern cars. Sure it costs less than a new NSX but I don't
see the attraction at all. You get what you pay for." Iaseca, May 18,
