Leased it three weeks ago for 24 months on a paid in full up front lease. Traded-in was an 07 Pacifica. I've driven the Taurus 520 miles and so far, I'm impressed with it. I like the conservative looks. Whenever I want to drive something more showy, I take the wife's 07 Mustang. One of the things I like best about the Ford automatic transmissions is that on hilly roads, they don't downshift until they have to. My Pacifica had a transmission that was busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs on hilly roads. I do wish that Ford would install a telescoping steering wheel on the next update of the Taurus. Either that, or change the adjustible pedal range so that they could be adjusted further away for guys with long legs.

I just ordered a new signature series, which comes pretty well loaded. Sunroof is extra, and I did not order that. Will I be sorry at trade-in time? I hate sunroofs, but I notice that every Pacifica Signature available at dealers in Michigan has a sunroof, $800 extra.

Man, CONGRATULATIONS! Beulah is a BEAUTY! That was my maternal grandmother's name, by the way, Beulah Ann. That silver is truly a sharp color. Yeeeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with that puppy, and post some pics taken in daylight, OK? Tom Have you hugged your Jeep today?
Bought New Colorado Yesterday

I bought a 4 wd Colorado LS ext cab 4 cyl standard shift with the Z85 suspension and dealer installed lightweight personal snowplow yesterday. Drives great, even at highway speeds with the plow on it. But here's my question for the group: GM announced a red tag sale today, with new incentives. What about customers that just bought?

Checking the Tire Rack site further, I see that for Colorado size tires, the Kumho Venture HT got the best ratings of all the brands, "Superior" in most categories from 61 customers.   Michelin, BF Goodrich, Uniroyal, Firestone and Goodyear all got a higher rating overall than the Generals.   stephen

The blinker relay on my Colorado sounds like a metronome. Yesterday, it put me into a trance while I was snowplowing my driveway, and I snapped out of it only after driving in circles for 20 minutes. Snoop Dogg's new hit "Drop It like It's Hot" was playing on the radio and that's what brought me out of the trance, I believe.   stephen
