It's especially easy if you and yours don't have to endure directly the jobs lost, tax revenue gone, pensions halved, health care benefits denied, dealerships closed, supplier lines shut down." Guess we taxpayers will have to bail out the automakers. Cascade effect of a failed GM, Ford just too horrible to imagine. Hopefully, bailout has lots of conditions that force major reorganization and new strategies. Saw an inteview of mayor of Greenville (or something like that) Indiana, a small town in south Indiana about the Honda plant that opened there recently. He said the starting wage there was $16/hour and no unions. He could not answer a question regarding what kind, if any, benefits workers get.

Greenville SC Infiniti dealer is still advertising 2008 M35's for less than 33K Sounds fishy. Assuming they are being sold as new, in other words, not one with thousands of miles on the OD (i.e. demo), 33K does not bold well for the dealership, neither to the car brand. If Hyundai can sell a good amount of units of the Genesis, w/ relatively little discount, mind you, and even during the whole economic turmoil, then I don't think Infiniti and/or the dealer would be so desperate to resort discounting 10K+ on the M (assuming it's the barebone M35, which starts around 44K, IIRC). On the other hand, it's a great deal for the consumer, if what you're saying is true... EDIT: is Bradshaw Infiniti the dealer you're talking about? Browsed around, cheapest M35 came in around $47K - nothing seemed to have indicated 33K M35 - didn't think so: http://www.bradshawinfiniti.com/new-inventory/index.htm?start=70

Carolinabob, I hope deals like that are available next August. If so, that's the car I will probably push for. I figured that you must be near me from reading some of your posts in the past. I'm in Greenwood, so any dealer from Atlanta to Charleston to Charlotte would be easily manageable. Where are you getting your info about Bradshaw Infiniti? (online, Greenville News, etc.) Do you have anything positive or negative to say about them or others in the region? thanks

heater core

It's part of the cooling system and is under the dashboard. I checked my Haynes repair manual, it's more involved than I'd want to try. Plus I'm just guessing at the problem, but it sounds like plugged heater core to me.

I think you may have a blocked/ clogged heater core.
