Re: Royal wedding [jmonroe] by robr2 on Fri Apr 29 08:23:00 PDT 2011

Amazingly, the Royal Family only spent $160,000 on the wedding. My understanding is that the Middletons are footing about six figures for the wedding and first reception. The queen and Charles are paying for the evening reception. Security costs are around $32 million. The problem is that today was declared a bank holiday hence the security gets double time for working.

Man blows up garage trying to make biodiesel A man was airlifted to hospital after he blew up his garage attempting to make biodiesel By Laura Clout Last Updated: 8:30PM BST 27 Jul 2008 The chemical explosion in Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire, left the man with burns to his face, arms and torso. Fire crews rescued the man using specialist breathing gear, after they were called to reports of a chemical fire just after 3pm on Saturday. A spokesman for Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service urged people to take "extreme caution" if attempting such chemical mixtures in their own home. Hang on they will have high quality biodiesel from algae soon. No risk to your life. Welcome to the Forum.....

Madison, WI - Recent Experiences? by tenjoh on Tue Apr 24 15:23:22 PDT 2007

Anyone in Southern Wisconsin have any recent experiences and/or advice to share? I'm a newbie buyer in the market for a 2007 TL/Navi a/t. With few in-state dealers, it's hard to get a competitive price. Middleton Acura (aka Zimbrick)'s rep acted rather offended I dared to try haggling. He gave me "we don't do invoice" and "I don't even know what invoice would be"; his best offer was 35300 before TTL. Acura of Brookfield (which appears also affiliated with Zimbrick) didn't have much in stock and pretty much was quoting MSRP. Boyland Acura (in Appleton) was a bit more reasonable, after some discussion, at 36700 OTD (high 34K before TTL). The prices are better in Chicagoland (a couple quotes just above/below $34K before TTL), but I am unfamiliar with what extra steps might be involved in buying out of state. Any input would be much appreciated!

Cancelling Honda Care warranty and buying from different dealer by coach2006 on Wed Sep 20 15:19:27 PDT 2006

Hi I just bought an 2007 Civil LX yesterday. Based on what I read in all the messages here it is possible to cancel with no fees then buy it somewhere else. I was planning on buying it from www.myhondawarranty.com (Saccucci Honda from Middleton, RI). I live in CA. Anyone see any problems? I would save a lot of money, as I didnt know what the Honda Care actually costs. thanks.

Re: 2006 jetta 2.5L-- doors stay locked [ral2167] by jeffyscott on Wed Jun 14 07:59:20 PDT 2006

Check your owners manual. I believe this is covered in there. It gives instructions for those with the computer menu interface. As I said eleswhere, our VE doesn't have the computer interface, but dealer made the change. I am also assuming that this feature did not change...ours is a 2005.5, I assume you have a 2006. I can give you two dealers for you or your dealership to contact, if they continue to not be able to figure this out. The one we bought the car from (Zimbrick VW in Middleton, WI) told us at the time of delivery that the locks could be set up this way. The dealership that actually made the change for us is Ernie Von Schledorn VW in Menomonee Falls, WI.
